TURNKEY RENOVATION, LUXEMBOURG TGV STATION
Turnkey renovation and transformation guarantees deadlines and budget. Design and architecture are perfectly integrated in this turnkey renovation project.
The transformation of the reception and sales center at Luxembourg station is an example of heavy work that EGB architects and interior designers can tackle. This is not a simple renovation of the premises, but a real (re)construction. And this, ranging from the structural work, to the choice and design of custom furniture. Indeed, this extensive work demonstrates the know-how, at all levels and at all stages of the transformation, of the EGB teams. Engineering, architecture, design… Everything was moved, emptied, slabs torn up, static elements moved, supporting structures corrected. Everything has been reinvented. As a result, the execution of this project in “turnkey” mode enabled this gigantic undertaking to scrupulously respect the deadlines and budgets.
How to expand a place without knocking down the walls? How to optimize available space? How to increase the quality of services? How can we improve reception and ensure perfect security? And how can we transform a place of passage and transit into a friendly and warm place to work and live? So many questions that engineers, architects, interior designers, designers and project managers from the EGB company addressed, aware of the issues and the challenge represented by this fantastic turnkey renovation project.
Reorganization of spaces, restructuring of services, work on volumes, surfaces, materials and technical equipment occupied the architects before the design office intervened in turn. He articulated shapes and colors, designed custom furniture, invented a lighting concept, materialized the lights and created relevant and subtle signage. By taking charge of the transformations from A to Z of the TGV sales area at Luxembourg station, EGB Interior Design demonstrated its talents and the quality of its services.
